I was a BBS kid. I was fortunate to live in 7i3 growing up and enjoyed a lively BBS scene.
I never was much for message boards, but spent a little time in doors and a lot of time in the files areas.
Once I discovered "warez," it was off to the races. I spent every bit of time our landline wasn't in use staring at ZMODEM progress indicators. I think I may have PTSD from xfer failures :D
Anyway, I've just been exploring and found this place from the Syncronet BBS list... 2nd BBS I've connected to in over 30 years. I found Undercurrent BBS also. Dude over there... Richinseattle I believe his handle is... has dome some great work with ENiGMA1/2... If you haven't connected to his place, check it out over at
