    Greetings... Sending a quick message to confirm that my NNTP
    configuration in Thunderbird is correct and that everything is working
    as it should. I'd appreciate a response so I can confirm that I'm able
    to receive messages from others on the BBS. Thanks in advance...

    Hey, Squatch. I haven't done NNTP stuff in 20 years! You say Thunderbird is a good place to start? Does Usenet still exist? Wasn't it always pay to access?

    I've studied and played with several new protocols over the past decade. I run an I2P Plus node myself, but I'm most interested in the retro stuff. I'd like to see what's out there.
