Being a Kentuckian, what I found interesting was their depiction of the cities in the area. In an early episode, they showed what was supposed
to be an outside scene in Lexington. Lexington is our second-largest city, and looks like a city, but they made it look more like Frankfort
or some other small river town.

I imagined that the city pronunciations were correct. Loovuhl and
    lessnton?

My wife insists that she lived in Tronno - you know, the city in
    Ontario, Canada?

I think it's interesting that in the North American accent, people often don't pronounce the second "T" in a word. People often say "Atlanna" (for Atlanta), and might also swallow the first T as well. I don't know how that started, but when thinking about it, it just seems wrong..

Louisvillians do pronounced their city name that way, but I don't
remember the show doing so. I have never heard anyone pronounce
Lexington that way. A few might drop the 'g' but most seem to pronounce
it the way it is spelled. To my recollection, the show did also.

I lived in Louisville a long time and always pronounced it Loo-eee-ville
since it is named after King Loo-eee of France. Most Loovuhlians/Loo-a-vuhlians think I pronounce it wrong.

If you see it again, listen to Art, the chief deputy.
