    Yes, the "PC" reboot IS out on streaming, that's how I watched it. I was referring above to the newest one: "Frozen Empire" I have now seen all
    of the previous movies.

    Ok, finally saw this one, and it wasn't nearly as bad as everyone kept telling me it was. Was nice to see at least 3 of the original cast members in there. Though I think it probably would have sat better with a lot of the purists if they had set it in a different city than NY. Let it be it's own stand alone group rather than trying to do a PC Remake of the original.

    Agreed .. but I personally just do not like Melissa McCarthy in much of anything.

    I enjoyed it also. It isn't quite as iconic to me as the originals, but I also didn't watch it when I was 8 years old, which I think makes a pretty big difference. :)

    I'm curious if kids growing up now will have different preferences in the series. I remember when the Star Wars prequels were released and "public opinion" online was that they were terrible - 20 years later the opinions I read have sure changed a lot! Turns out now a lot of people have fond memories of those movies.

    I think that's a fair comment, I never thought much of it when it came out but every studio with a million bucks and a desire to fund a project can make whatever Ghostbusters movie the want :)
