  • Help with doors

    At the expense of sounding like a newbie, I really need help setting up some door games with my Mystic BBS. Can someone point me toward some good
    examples, with the full details about setting them up?

    I don't know beans about the drop files or external stuff you need to run the doors. That's why I need some real examples, with complete setup
    instructions.

    The first thing is what kind of door do you want to run? It's likely
    that it may be something you can only run on a 32 bit system and ideally on Windows not some dos-box type emulation.

    There are other doors like Galactic Dynasty and For Honour that Apam has created and they run both on Linux and Windows.. we run a inter-bbs
    league for them here in fsxNet and there's some guidance in the infopack about how to install them etc.

    At this point, I am ready for anything. I just want some games
    on my board. I have tried to connect with some of the door
    servers but haven't had any luck yet. I used to run a BBS in
    the 90s and could do absolutely anything with it, but now
    I am an old geezer and I've forgotten 90% of what I used to
    know. I will keep trying. Thanks for the reply.ń

    I know what you mean I get frustrated with stuff sometimes got a lot of open fires that I started and never got back to. You'll get it! :)
