    Since my bbs software package does not natively read pipe colors. I was thinking it would be great if an offline mail reader could translate
    pipe colors as an optional feature.

    I made an offline mail reader recently (modeled basically after Digital Distortion Message Reader & SlyEdit) that can interpret pipe codes & other attribute codes and translate them to colors:

    I was going to reply to Matthew and tell him about it, but you beet me to it. As you can see I'm using your slymail and I can confirm so far I've been able to see every picture people have posted.
