    I tried to get a BBS up synchronet),,,, guess im too old to understaand it. It's a shame, I have dedicated mini-pc with windows 10 where I have some mirc bots running on freenode #tlchost

    Don't give up!

    Wonder if there is anyone who could help me set up a BBS that you might know of.

    I'd be glad to help you if I knew what kind of issues you are having.

    I follow the Synchronet support areas ..

    SYNCHRONET
    SYNC_SYSOPS

    as well as some others. If I see your questions in there I will try to answer or give you feedback.

    There is also a #Synchronet IRC channel where you can find all the regulars haning out. I won't be there since I never figured out IRC but you can often get help in real time there.

    Hope you and yours are doing well

    Same to you and yours. Hope to see your BBS at some point.

    //Hello Alan,//

    Thanks for the kind offer. Since I posted, the mini-pc I planned to use for the BBS, has developed some weird problems...so until I get it sorted, i will not persue the BBS project. It's very odd, since I operate on multiple IRC channelwith no problem. Most likely it isn't the mini-pc, more likely the 82 year old brain that doesn't work correctly...since I've know for years "I ain't wrapped too tight".

    Regards,
