Title: Kwanzaa Fried Okra

Yield: 6 Servings
1 lb Fresh okra
1 c Liquid egg substitute
1/8 ts Salt
2 tb Cold water
1 c Cornmeal
1/4 c Canola oil
Salt & black pepper
Wash okra and cut the ends, then halve each piece.
Mix together egg substitute, salt, and water.
Dip okra into egg mixture then coat each piece in cornmeal.
Heat canola oil in skillet until hot.
Fry okra about 10 to 15 minutes until it is brown then
season with salt and pepper to taste.
