We could post about how we wished our BBSes got more "calls".

Ahh.. the laments of a modern day sysop ;)

I largely consider this little hobby to be moreso for Me. Anyone else
that joins in the fun is a side benefit (Anyone Welcome!). I have a
couple semi regular callers.. no clue what they do.. certainly aren't
posting messages though :)

The BBS is really just about scratching an itch that I have for
configuring old bbs stuff and letting it fly.. tweaking the little
things I like and effectively pretending as though I am running a bbs.
If it catches on, cool.. if not.. well.. ok.. boo... but.. okay..

I tell ya tho.. the little rush I got when I had this ol girl polling
FDN networks super quick was great! Like riding a bike!
