Think of the fact that every series of Strictly Come Dancing has one contestant from EastEnders and Gladiators alike almost like TV channel conscription. Now that The Traitors has been renewed until 2030, maybe it
will even be added to people's contracts. If I dare to dream even further, there will be crossover episodes. If a Traitors contestant goes down well enough with fans, their shiny new media career takes off. So what's to say an acting role or two won't come their way? Not only has Ahmadi chosen amazingly well, but she'd be absolutely brilliant on the hit reality show. Her Beyond Paradise character Esther doesn't suffer fools and is incredibly diligent in her police work, with Ahmadi's naturally warm personality making for a killer pairing.

We saw how well this worked when the first series of Celebrity Traitors cast Line of Duty 's Mark Bonnar, who became so irate at the roundtables that he routinely swore and punched the ground.

Mark my words: a crime drama star will be on season 2... it's just a question of who. Fingers crossed, Beyond Paradise and Traitors will get their
