being offered with a $150 discount on Amazon . That means you can get the MacBook Air 13-inch (M5) at Amazon for $949 (was $1,099) .

That's the price for the base configuration with 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD. Thankfully, that's double the amount of memory and storage in the base model compared to previous-generation versions of the laptop a much welcome upgrade. However, if you want even more, all variations of the 2026 MacBook Air are on sale with the same $150 off. For example, you can upgrade to a configuration with 16GB RAM and a 1TB SSD for $1,149 (was $1,299) or 24GB RAM and a 1TB SSD for $1,349 (was $1,499) . If you want more storage, you might as well take advantage of the discount just because of that. The MacBook Air is also what we typically recommend for most people if you want a powerful all-around laptop, unless you need the Pro for demanding photo and video editing tasks.
