Available today for select Xbox Insiders to begin testing, the new overhaul features will roll out to more Insiders over time and be available to the broader player base at a later time. Among the improvements are a refreshed achievement notification look featuring updated icons and animations when players unlock classic or rare achievements. "Notifications will also match your custom color, making each unlock feel
more personal. Happy achievement hunting!" the company said in the Xbox Wire post.
Starting later this month, players will also be able to hide any game they want from their Achievement history on their profile, "giving you more
control over how your accomplishments are presented."
"Whether you want a cleaner look or just want to highlight what matters most to you, this puts your profile in your hands," Xbox said. Finally, when players have earned every achievement for a single game, they will now see it highlighted in their list, giving players a "quick, at-a-glance way to celebrate full completion."
Filter options will also be added, making them easier to find among the list of games.
"This is a small but meaningful step in a broader set of improvements were making to Achievements," Xbox said. "Were continuing to explore new ways to recognize completion and milestone moments over time, and this update is one of our first steps towards celebrating those moments."
