A trailer for Half Man has been released, giving us a closer look at two men who grew up together and became a blended family after their respective mothers entered a relationship. Considering themselves to be brothers now, they had a close-knit bond until their big falling-out as adults. Gadd stars alongside Jamie Bell in the series, with his character showing up at his estranged brother's wedding, "leading to an explosion of violence." a largely positive response to the trailer, with many people bracing themselves for another emotional rollercoaster. Considering I could not stop crying at Baby Reindeer , I don't blame them.

Half Man is definitely one of my most anticipated HBO shows of the year, and we don't have long to wait now. I'm really hoping it can reach the same highs as Gadd's Emmy award-winning predecessor, but we'll have to wait and see.
