I am guessing that they are talking about some form of mass transit vehicle. That said, it still sounds like science fiction to me. ;)

I didn't think of Mass transit vehichle. I've not followed the hyperloop stuff. I agree it sounds like science fiction. Will be awesome if it works safely,
and can provide fast transit. Look at the high speed rail trains. They are pretty amazing.

Hmm I think you're close, Mach3 is 2,300mph (3x the speed of sound), I didn't think it through much when I thought 3,000mph would liquify someone lol
