No, I think you are right. They do seem to rush things out sooner than
they used to. If they were allowed to sell fireworks, they'd probably have them out as soon as Easter was over. ;)

Me thinks the ships on the West Coast get goods really early and then have to send them out to the stores before the next fleet of ships arrive.

That's something I didn't think about amd a very valid point.

Yeah the store I worked for had a tiny warehouse compared to the shop. Every inch of the store footage was used

You could very well be onto something here. The manufacturers and shippers
may be dictating what gets put out when more than we would think.

That's terrible. I had a case of acute bronchitis, luckily I was sick for 2-3 days, then felt better but had a cough that wouldn't go away for a month or so. Could have been worse. I feel like I was popping Ricola cough drops continually that month...

I had a 20+ messages deep Blue Wave reply packet I was going to send off and
I accidentally deleted it. Installing file deletion recovery software
caused that file's inode to get erased.

Lesson learned: make sure you delete the right file the first time. :(

We all do that. I did it recently and all I have to do is hit P for PUT
the rep packet which deletes it after it's sent. I hit G for get and my program happily deleted the REP packet.

It now asks. :)

Sorry to hear that, been there, done that. Many times.

Does file undeletion still work with modern file systems? I remember
with FAT it was easy, the file just had a $ as the first character.

ext4 immediately clears the inode for the deleted file so unless you can undelete it immediately, it's likely gone forever if you do any disk usage after the deletion before you try to undelete it.

I was hospitalized last night due to an open wound I did not know I had (I didn't literally feel it!) that has become infected. I will check in but if there are issues, please contact Andrew.

The Iron Fist will return shortly. LOL

I am doing okay. I am feeling a bit blah from being injected with many
various industrial-grade antibiotics. I am prone to get drug-resistant bacteria in my wounds, such as MRSA, so I have to take antibiotics that
require me to me hospitalized.

I brought my mobility scooter and I can terrorize everyone...mwahahaha!

I had that happen once or twice when I was younger... I knew I had the
wound but as it didn't bleed I forgot about it! I didn't have to go to hospital, though.
