How is that done? The Wii was not designed to be used in that way. I've heard similar things done with other consoles.

A Nintendo Wii can be hacked to allow you to do more things with it
than Nintendo originally intended. I did that with my Wii several
years ago to allow things like installing emulators and other 3rd-party apps (through a different channel) and playing ISOs of Wii games from a hard drive rather than from optical disc.
