  • Deleted Mail Menu

    Hi All

    So in an act of stupidity (well, cleaning things up - which usually means doing stupid things), I deleted my mail menu from the menu editor. Therefore mail menu dead.

    While I can rebuild this, I was wondering if there are any links to resources on anything I should need to rebuild it? Obviously the wiki has the options, and I can look back on my ans files for the menu options. But more of the unknowns are what might have been some of the "data" options been for each option in the action menu?

    If by "mail menu" you mean message menu:

    While you may be able to find some documentation on what all the menu commands are, if you want the original menu back, your best bet may be to install the same version of Mystic to a temporary directory, and copy the message.mnu file over (from mystic/themes/default/menus) so you have the default menu again.

    Then, you can keep that version installed in that temporary directory in case you ever do anything like that again. ;)

    On closer inspection, it looks like the original message.mnu had become corrupted. I manually created so I could get messaging going again - but your help allowed me to push out a backup I had.

    Was it bone stock? If so, I'd just install mystic on some other machine and copy over the .mnu files???
