So.. with a break in the fools spring we're having I finally
got out for a ride.
6 miles after nearly a year off the bike seemed acceptable and
took out the old Defy 5 which has some 6100 miles on the machine.
I was getting some chain jump under load as I pedaled. I'm
thinking that is a dry chain and has some frozen links.
Any other
opinions as to why when you are applying even but heavy force to
the chain it might jump teeth on the cassette?
After not using it for a year, you didn't think you should check/lube it some first?
Might be a misaligned derailleur.
