  • Fw: DC2120 tapes

    Hiya all. I found 6 tapes from my old BBS and data and I want to restore t data from them. They are from 1992-1997 low density.

    I remember backing up the data with colorado backup software. Anybody know there is some modern tapedrive which can be used with USB to restore them?

    Well, good news! I got the tapes read and got thousands of files from my bulletin board back.

    Initially I bought the hardware to read the tapes myself but I did not want to take the chance losing anything, so I send them to the US to got them read. Now I have the originals back I can continue the challenge to set up my hardware and try to read them also.

    The files range in the categories HPAVC, Comms, Gfx, Music, 13+ Fulll Group Distro (HQ), Programming.

    All from 1992 up to 1996 from the Dutch (Netherlands) Scene. I got the first batch of HPAVC files online on my board.

    If you want a snif please dail to bbs.theforze.eu ^^.

    So happy here, many memories coming back browsing through them.

    I'd love to store those messages in clrghouz - but even more, I'm keen to see what my BBS was up to during that time :)
