Drones are all over the place flying around New Jersey NY some other states and they're not giving any answer why they're flying around and doing what they're doing

Or they're just planes and helicopters that are normally seen in the
night sky? --
Anybody have any thoughts about all these drones
Or if they are drones, it's teenagers and hipster dudes goofing off.
Former Maryland governor Larry Hogan claimed to have spotted a bunch
of drones; it turns out he was looking at the constellation Orion and
was looking at stars.
Shesh. Who makes up these conspiracy theories?
Aside from the possible airshow, I suspect some of the instances where
the viewer really saw drones are military or some other government
drones.

I personally think it's hilarious that people aren't jumping to the obvious conclusion: they're obviously aliens.

It's not like the NY/NJ air corridor is the busiest in the world, or
anything...

Unless I'm mistaken, I feel like the fact that everyone is caling them "drones" implies that we know they're man-made autonamous or controlled vehicles of some sort. I haven't been following the story very closely though.

Correct, it isn't. Sort of in the bottom half of the top 10 but that's about it.

I don't know much about these drone sightings, but I did wonder if
they could be delivery drones, like delivering packages from one
place to another.

You may be right, but that's not what that link shows.
That link shows the business routes; that is, connections
between two places. The NYC/EWR/PHL/BOS/DC corridor,
however, serves _many_ routes, and in a relatively small
area. To find which general area has the busiest air
space, you'd have to compare the sum of all routes going
into a given airport.
That is, the ORD<->ATL route may be busier than ORD<->LGA,
and O'Hare and Atlanta are huge, very busy airports; but
probably neither is busier than JFK/LGA/EWR combined.

Don't think so - they're saying their sized like cars and SUVs. It has
to be the government, but what the hell are they looking for???
Murmurs have been said that some nuclear device was lost, or even radioactive material... if its not US, the admin is lost and we're in
more trouble than we think.
I seriously doubt it. It would make a great movie... but I suspect that rumor is started by an overactive imagination. I mean wouldn't it be easier to find stuff with satellites than drones?

I think tenser's conclusion is the best though - it has to be aliens,
many many tiny aliens. To everyone else they look like drones but they
are really alien motherships preparing for an invasion.
This time around, they do seem to be jumping to government conspiracy or foreign attack and ignoring the possibility that these are small UFOs.

Reminds me of the Buffy Episode "Fear Me".
Gachnar, the demon in the episode -
"I am the Dark Lord of nightmares, the bringer of terror... Tremble
before me! Fear me!"
Turned out he was a few inches tall, and Buffy stepped on him.

There was a Twilight Zone episode about that, wasn't there?
