    I paid for a hard copy of the .12 installer for 8.0 and I feel underwhelmed. If I was not in wwivnet, I would likely move to
    SYnchronet.

    Look at Talisman BBS - it has wwivnet support built in. I used it when
    I ran Talisman and it worked perfectly.

    the wwivnet hub is down, and i do have an install of talisman
    configured, but its not that easy for beginners to utilize.

    I found it pretty easy to configure. Feel free to ask any questions
    and if I don't know the answer I"m sure someone does.
