It doesn't seem to hurt anything, your mail gets through, so it's not crucial, so not a requirement. But it is strange...

it only stable if firs 4Gb partion on amiga is only used for amiga ums storage,
it does direct access on blocks, so bigger harddisks do work in amiga, but ums
crash over 4Gb limit, its not the partion size, but store must be on first 4Gb
blocks, while i had it working it was real nice that all fidonet and email, netmail usenet could be loaded from same storage, i miss all the problems with crashmail :=)
