 A "bug" in MS-Dos's "COMMAND.COM" prevents you from
searching hidden directories for a file/s.  Example: If you
use the command (without quotes) "DIR/S *.INI" to locate all
".INI" files in the current directory, including "all" sub-
directories to the current directory (directory you are in),
if there is a hidden sub-directory/s, it/they will be
bypassed.  Note: Hidden sub-directories are common in the
"WINDOWS" (95/98) directory.

 The directory "search" bug involves not setting the proper
attribute to include hidden directories!  "Dos Fix" fixes
this bug so you can search all directories for a file/s.

CTS IOInfo v1.1 identifies which I/O
addresses are used in the computer. Use
IOInfo before installing a new sound card,
modem or other device to make sure that the
address selected is available. IOInfo runs in

PC HISTORIAN 1.1 -- PCH creates a history of
PC configurations & delivers tools to examine
it.  When changes at boot-up are detected in
your configuration, AUTOEXEC.BAT, CONFIG.SYS,
WIN.INI, and SYSTEM.INI are automatically
stored in a ZIP or LZH archive.  PCH creates
a line-change report called COMPARE.TXT for
each archive.  These reports can be compiled
into CHANGES.TXT.  HISTORY.TXT, an event log
file, is also maintained.  PCH can browse
individual config archive files.  Requires
LHA.EXE or PKZIP archive utility and DOS's
FC.EXE program.  PCH is copyrighted FREEWARE.
